Inner Symphony veterans Clawz SG & Mashk come together for this collaborative track, “Chrysalis” and its two remixed iterations by Bessiff and Modul Art. Rich in texture and complexity, each track tells its own version of an emotive narrative through robust synthesizers and melodies.

“Chrysalis” carries a driving rhythm that builds to a crescendo of cinematic synths that elicit feelings of longing in the listener. It seemingly tells a story, like the butterfly or moth emerging from its transformative state. Bessiff gives an ominous take on this plot, with darker pulses of synths weaving between the melodies. Modul Art creates a more cerebral, yet dance-inducing atmosphere with rhythmic variation throughout.

A captivating release by the two French producers, Chrysalis and its remixed accompaniments demand multiple listens to get a true feel for the stories they tell.
