Steyoyoke welcomes back the maestro of all things melodic Clawz SG with his 4 track EP ‘Constellations’. Clawz SG adds another impeccably engineered title to his discography full to the brim with energy and ethereal synthscapes.

The title track ‘Constellations’ weds airy soundscapes to a throbbing bass. A deep evolving bass lays the groundwork while glassy synths weave in and out and a resonant staccato introduces an air of tension, perfectly showcasing Clawz’ unique ability to effortlessly merge energy and emotion.

‘Momentum’ is an exercise in all things Clawz SG. Artfully gliding blips and synths enamelled by pads weaving in and out of tune ever so slightly is quintessential Clawz at his best.

Bright and empyrean, ‘Cosmic’ invokes the feeling of looking up into a clear night sky. Bells, claves and radiant pads intertwine to invoke an auditory sense of the vastness of the universe and the serenity of being a part of it.

‘Twilight’ is a unique track of contrasting emotions. At times purveying comfort and solace through delicately emotive synthwork, the massive bass also invokes a sense of impending calamity.

With his latest EP, Clawz SG shifts his gaze heavenwards. Epic and colossal at times, gentle and emotive at others, ‘Constellations’ conjures a full palette of the human experience.
